Being a sucker for an experience and hosting picnics & get-togethers often, I realised there was not much on offer in terms of spaces that would be affordable, unique and allow the flexibility of external catering (or a good old BYO set up). Whilst that it also became obvious event planning in Australia is a fragmented & time-consuming process.

Being a host at present means navigating & negotiating numerous separate vendors for venue booking, catering, entertainment, and other services. Each with individual contact.
